@JAY Z.........Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Corey Carter, is an American rapper, businessman, and record executive. Born on December 4, 1969, in Brooklyn, New York, he is widely regarded as one of the greatest rappers of all time. Jay-Z started his career in the late 1980s, co-founding Roc-A-Fella Records in 1994 to release his debut album, Reasonable Doubt (1996). He went on to dominate hip-hop with albums like The Blueprint (2001), The Black Album (2003), and 4:44 (2017). He holds the record for 14 No.1 albums on the Billboard 200, tied with Drake and Taylor Swift(2). Beyond music, Jay-Z became hip-hop’s first billionaire in 2019, thanks to ventures like Roc Nation, Tidal, and the 40/40 Club. He is married to Beyoncé, and they have three children, including Blue Ivy(2).

@T.I.D(TOP IN DAR)..........T.I.D, whose real name is Khalid Mohamed, is a Tanzanian Bongo Flava artist born in 1981 in Dar es Salaam. His stage name stands for "Top in Dar", referring to his hometown.......He began his music career in 1994 with the group Black Gangsters before going solo five years later. At 21 years old, he signed with Poa Records, releasing his first single, "Mrembo", in March 2002. Some of his biggest hits include "Kiuno," "Nyota Yako," "We Dada," "Zeze," and "Siamini"(2)..........T.I.D has performed in East Africa, the UK, and the US, often accompanied by his live band, Top Band. His song "Zeze" was even featured in the Global Soul compilation by Putumayo World Music(2).........Beyond music, he has also acted, starring in the film "Girlfriend", which explores the Bongo Flava scene(2). However, his career has had ups and downs, including a prison sentence in 2008 for assault, though he was released after four months(2).

@G.NAKO..........G Nako, whose real name is George Sixtus Mdemu, is a Tanzanian rapper, songwriter, and stylist. He was born on May 25, 1983, in Arusha, Tanzania. He started his music career in 1998 while studying at Nangwa Technical School, forming the group Chronic Mob with his friend Bounako. Later, in 2000, he joined Nako 2 Nako (N2K) Soldiers, led by Lord Eyes, where he collaborated with major Tanzanian artists like Ben Pol, Msechu, Maua Sama, Aslay, and Rich Mavoko. G Nako is a founding member of Weusi Kampuni, one of Tanzania’s biggest hip-hop groups. He has performed alongside international stars like Rick Ross, Fat Joe, Adekunle Gold, and Ja Rule. Some of his popular songs include "Super Woman," "Ndio Zetu," and "KatiKati".

@CHEMICAL............Chemical, whose real name is Claudia Lubao, is a Tanzanian female rapper known for her unique style and contribution to Bongo Flava and rap music2. She has been recognized for paving the way for other female artists in the Tanzanian hip-hop scene. Chemical started her musical journey in high school, where she initially sang before transitioning into rap. Over time, she developed her craft and became one of the standout female rappers in Tanzania. Some of her popular songs include "Papara," "Mama," "Kemikali," and "Mtoto Wa Mtaa".

@TUNDA MAN............Tunda Man, whose real name is Khaleed Ramadhan Tunda, is a Tanzanian Bongo Flava artist born on August 18, 1984. He is a member of the Tip Top Connection music group, alongside artists like Dogo Janja, Kassim Mganga, and Madee. Beyond music, Tunda Man is also an actor and businessman from Manzese, Dar es Salaam. His music often blends Afropop and Bongo Flava, and he has released several popular tracks, including "Mpunguze," "True Love," and "Ngongingo".

@IZZO BIZNESS..........Izzo Bizness, whose real name is Emmanuel Simwenga, is a Tanzanian hip-hop artist from Mbeya. He has been active in the Bongo Fleva music scene for over 15 years and gained recognition with his hit song "Bizness" (2010). His music career took off under MJ Records, where he collaborated with artists like Suma Lee. Izzo Bizness is known for releasing a song every December 25th, which is his birthday, often with themes related to Christmas. He has also participated in major projects like Coke Studio Africa and released an EP titled "The Capricorn" (2021). Outside of music, he prioritizes his family, even having a tattoo that reads "Family Over Everything".
