Born on August 29, 1982, in Kinshasa, Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of the Congo), he has been a significant figure in Congolese rumba and ndombolo music2. He began singing at a young age and later joined Wenge Musica Maison Mère, a popular Congolese band led by Werrason, in 2001. During his time with the group, he contributed to several hit songs, including J'en ai assez, Nostalgie, and Amour vrai. After 16 years with Wenge Musica Maison Mère, he launched his solo career in 2015, signing with Obouo Music and Because Music.
